Adriana Cardona Rivera, Psy.D., Resident in Psychology
Dr. Cardona takes a strengths-based approach, tailoring evidence-based therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals. She particularly enjoys working with adults who are navigating important life transitions or experiencing high levels of anxiety. Her work focuses on helping clients improve relationships, manage anxiety, navigate complex family and cultural dynamics, and develop healthier patterns in their daily lives. Dr. Cardona is especially attentive to the mind-body connection and understands how stress can manifest both emotionally and physically.
She uses an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and relational strategies.
